This Privacy Policy explains what Shop by Aisle collects, how we use it, and your choices.
Your account details (email, name), and everything you add to the app: stores and aisle layouts, shopping lists and items, quantities and purchases, recipes (food and drink), meal plans, saved/commonly-bought items, and usage/analytics data.
To operate and improve the app, and — unless you opt out — for marketing, promotions, advertising, and analytics.
Shop by Aisle shows third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, to help keep the app free.
Some links (for example, kitchen tools and grocery links) are affiliate links, including the Amazon Associates program. As an Amazon Associate, Shop by Aisle earns from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.
We may sell or share your data with third parties for marketing and analytics. You can opt out at any time: in the app, go to More → Account → Privacy and turn on “Do Not Sell My Data.”
You may access, correct, or delete your data. To delete everything, use More → Account → “Delete my account & data.” This permanently removes your account and all associated content.
We keep your data while your account is active; deleted data is removed from the live database. Passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt), and the database is not directly accessible from the web. No system is perfectly secure — please use a unique password.
Shop by Aisle is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. Family accounts are managed by a household adult.
