About Us

Shop by Aisle is a free app that makes home cooking and grocery shopping simpler. It turns recipes into shopping lists that sort themselves into the order you walk your store's aisles — so you stop zig-zagging back for the milk — and it helps you plan the week, discover recipes, and shop faster.

What the app does

• Aisle-sorted grocery lists. Add a store and arrange its aisles once (or snap a photo of the aisle signs and let it map them for you); every list then sorts to match how you shop.
• Recipes & Discover. Save recipes by importing a link, scanning a recipe card, pasting text, or generating an original recipe with AI — then add the ingredients to a list in one tap.
• AI meal planning. Build a week of meals with sides, ready-by times and calorie estimates, or plan a whole party with a menu, prep list, timed schedule and shopping list.
• Cook mode. A hands-free, step-by-step guide (the screen stays awake while you cook), including a "cook it all together" plan so a whole meal finishes at once.
• Basil, your personal sous-chef. A friendly in-app assistant that can find recipes, plan meals, build lists and answer questions — and it sees the screen you're on so you can just ask.

Who it's for

Home cooks and families who want to eat well, waste less, and shop with less hassle. Households can share lists and menus, and kids can suggest meals and request items that a parent approves.
